Oh Prague, I wish I could come back. What a wonderful Easter weekend it has been! I had the opportunity to go to Prague with my two friends, Dyani and Nana. We stayed in a great little hostel called 'Miss Sophie's' . As soon as we arrived we went straight to the town square. There were festivities going on everywhere because of the holiday, it was really amazing. There were booths set up all over the town, full of traditional treats(as you can see we ate plenty of our favorite, Trdelnik), souvenirs, and food. We went up into one of the church towers that looked over the city, it was magical. The video was taken from the tower, and I feel like those 30 seconds just capture the mood of the city-it was a dream. That night we found a great Lounge/Restaurant/Bar/Club (yes it was all of those things put together) that only served Vegan food. It was so good! I ordered pesto pasta and was in heaven! Thursday was the sightseeing day. Our tour guide was hilarious and carried around a Hello Kitty umbrella so that we could always find him. It is always great to learn all about the city and it's history, but my favorite part is exploring and finding your own personal memories of it. We were able to find the Lennon wall and take tons of pictures-it was so colorful, oh and we also found that moving statue of two men peeing on Czech, and after we of course ate some more Trdelnik. Day three we had kind of a sad trip to the Zoo. It was pretty freezing so all the animal were hiding! We had a fun time though and headed back to the city to check in with this lady we had met the day before. She is a glass jewelry maker, and man was she cool. She demonstrated for us and it was just such a beautiful art. Saturday, we had brunch at 'Paul', the macaroons were as yummy as they look. Then we went to a flea market down the street and I found that gem of a ring which has been permanently glued on my finger ever since. We then took a tram ride around the beautiful city to have one last look. I am so glad I was able to go and have such a memorable time, Prague was incredible, truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to.

With Love from Austria,
